The paradox of interrelations

Description

People love to compare everything to everything: we compare volume to volume, distance to distance, time, whether wasted and lost or well-spent. We perceive the world around us according to a conventional comparative pattern: microorganisms are tiny, stars are enormous, and people are somewhere in the middle. This way of thinking helps us find our bearings, makes us feel safe and gives a sense of certainty. The way we assess our reality affects the way we see the big picture, which, in a way, helps us settle in life. Therefore, our cumulative knowledge and experience, gained over the years, appear as something very plausible and unquestionable. This project allows to see the frailty of our perception by immersing the viewer into a different dimension.
