Author’s note

When I see a white canvas, I see an outer space, turned inside out, I see all the darkest stars scattered around it. This white space is what has helped me interact with reality throughout my life. I often ask myself: what comes first — time or space? Can a pattern be suddenly broken, can the darkness reveal a secret? What message does the visual image carry and how can a single word translate the complexity of ideas, embedded in it?

I explore space through my work constantly; I experiment with techniques and play around with narratives, always trying to convey that its the process of creating itself, a simple brush stroke or the motion of a palette-knife, that fills my art with emotion. Every touch of the paintbrush is a word, and it begs to be heard. And just like every sentence has a certain meaning, the integration of colors and patterns forms a complete picture.

That is how my stories come to life.
